Jonathan Martin has worked as a Software and Database developer gaining technical and commercial experience across a wide range of roles over a 10-year period. With specific experience within Financial and Banking sectors working on full-scale multi-product Business Intelligence projects for leading Guernsey and Jersey Banks. Jonathan began his career as a Mechanical Craft Engineer but moved into IT and Software development working for one of the largest Channel Island Software Houses, Milvus. Following this he worked for an IT Service provider before moving to work as an independent IT Contractor. Jonathan has been involved in developing solutions using a wide range of technologies including IBM, Microsoft and Open Source solutions. He has a keen interest in Database and Data Warehouse technology and the process of data capture, migration and integration (ETL).
